MY STORY
For years, I had everything that was supposed to make me happy. Financial success. Designer possessions. A life that looked good from the outside.
But inside? I felt nothing.
I was numb. Disconnected. Running on autopilot while my body stayed locked in survival mode.
I didn't know it then, but I was in high-functioning freeze.
I tried every healing modality. I bypassed every emotion.
I dove deep into New Age spirituality. Gratitude journals. Vision boards. Telling myself "the universe has my back" while my body screamed that it didn't feel safe.
I was spiritually bypassing my body. Doing all the practices while completely disconnecting from what I actually felt.
And it kept me dysregulated for years.
THE SHIFT:
When everything fell apart, I finally had to stop running.
That's when I started studying the nervous system. I learned how trauma operates in the body. I understood why my gratitude practice wasn't working - my nervous system didn't feel safe enough to receive anything.
Everything finally made sense.
And I made another shift: I moved from "trusting the universe" to going directly to God. The Source. Not an abstract energy - but the Creator who designed my body with a nervous system for a reason.
I stopped forcing. I started listening.
And slowly, my body began to thaw.
This is the most peaceful, sovereign version of myself I've ever been.
